When we doing the consultation, we use the traditional Chinese medicine way to check the patients. The four diagnostic methods are: inspection, auscultation and olfaction, inquiring, and palpation. Inspection focuses on the face and particularly on the tongue, including analysis of the tongue size, shape, tension, colour and coating, and the absence or presence of teeth marks around the edge. Auscultation and olfaction involve listening for particular sounds such as wheezing and observing body odour. Inquiring involves focusing on the "seven inquiries": chills and fever; perspiration; appetite, thirst and taste; defecation and urination; pain; sleep; and menses and leukorrhea . Palpation is focusing on feeling the body for tender "A-shi" points and feeling the pulse.

Cupping is drawing tissue into a cup placed on the targeted area by creating a partial vacuum – either by the heating and subsequent cooling of the air in the cup, or via a mechanical pump. The cup is usually left in place for somewhere between five and fifteen minutes.

Cupping therapy is good for a wide array of medical conditions including fevers, chronic low back pain, poor appetite, indigestion, high blood pressure, acne, atopic, dermatitis, psoriasis, anaemia, stroke rehabilitation, nasal congestion, infertility, and menstrual period cramping.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is an alternative medical practice drawn from traditional medicine in China. It could help many of conditions, such as allergies, autoimmune disorders, cancer treatment side effects, diarrheal and constipation, digestion issues, infertility, irritable bowel syndrome, immune system regulation, menopause, menstrual or endometriosis pain, persistent fatigue and so on.

In our practice, we only provide Chinese herbal extracts are herbal decoctions that have been condensed into a granular or powdered form. Herbal extracts, like patent medicines, are easier and more convenient for patients to take.

Tui na is a hands-on body treatment that uses Chinese Daoist principles in an effort to bring the eight principles of traditional Chinese medicine into balance. The practitioner may brush, knead, roll, press, and rub the areas between each of the joints, known as the eight gates, to attempt to open the body's defensive chi (wei qi) and get the energy moving in the meridians and the muscles. Techniques may be gentle or quite firm. The name comes from two of the actions: tui means "to push" and na means "to lift and squeeze." Other strokes include shaking and tapotement. The practitioner can then use a range of motion, traction, and the stimulation of acupressure points. These techniques are claimed to aid in the treatment of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, as well as many non-musculoskeletal conditions.

Acupressure is an alternative medicine technique often used in conjunction with acupuncture or reflexology. It is based on the concept of life energy, which flows through "meridians" in the body. In treatment, physical pressure is applied to acupuncture points, or ashi trigger points, with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians. Pressure may be applied by hand, by elbow, or with various devices.

Reflexology is a type of therapy that uses gentle pressure on specific points along your feet (and possibly on your hands or ear as well) to help you feel better. The theory is that this eases stress, and that helps your body work better. It’s also known as zone therapy.

Reflexology may help you feel less stressed, more relaxed, and more energized. But the benefits might go deeper if you have certain health issues.

More research needs to be done to tell a direct effect on specific conditions, but base

on what we know so far, it may ease:

• Anxiety among people who've had heart surgery
• Pain during labour
• Arthritis pain
• Some symptoms of multiple sclerosis, like fatigue and uncomfortable skin sensations
• Emotional and physical pain caused by cancer
• Improve sinus issues
• Relieve back pain
• Ease constipation

Gua sha is most often used to relieve muscle and joint pain. Conditions of the muscles and bones are known as musculoskeletal disorders. Some examples include back pain, tendon strain, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Practitioners claim that gua sha can also benefit the immune system and reduce inflammation.

Moxibustion is a form of therapy that entails the burning of mug wort leaves. This is a small, spongy herb that is believed to enhance healing with acupuncture. As such, the leaves are burnt close to the skin's surface using a stick to apply heat.

Moxibustion normally is good for the conditions cause by cold pathogens or a certain yang deficiency. This includes:

• Joint pain.
• Indigestion.
• Organ prolapses.
• Gastrointestinal issues.
• Menstrual cramps.
• Infertility.

It’s also commonly used for breech pregnancy, when a baby is positioned feet- or bottom-first in the uterus rather than head-first. Moxibustion has been shown to be an effective way to get a baby to turn around on its own, without medical intervention.
